Autism Companion Services founder, Jane Hornett, has a 25 year old daughter with autism and has been very involved with the autism community for 20 years. Jane has started up a local non-profit organization focused on families affected by autism from 2006-2009. She has done a start-up autism magazine for the local community and has been involved significantly as an employee and consultant perspective for several local ABA centers. Jane has started up four major social media pages for new and existing families affected by autism in Hamilton County and the Indianapolis area. She brings significant connections and strength in family connections, local pediatricians and overall guidance for many families affected by autism. She is also a trained advocate for families who have children with autism struggling in both private and public schools advocating for better written IEP's (Individual Education Plan) while attending case conferences. Jane and her husband Steve live in Westfield.
Steve has a 30-year background in manufacturing operations and process improvement. Prior to starting Autism Companion Services with Jane, he was Chief Operating Officer for Automatic Pool Covers, Inc. and Cover Care LLC—guiding each company to quadruple growth during his tenure. Before that, Steve worked for Purdue University and helped over 100 Indiana companies with achieving operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing methodologies. He is passionate about the ACS mission and ensuring positive growth for our clients, their families, and our staff.
Deon has over 30 years of experience in mental and behavioral sciences with over 10 years in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. He has had several years of experience within executive leadership roles while managing private and state funded residential care facilities serving the community. Deon is passionate about providing a creative and nurturing environment, promoting numerous functional and natural learning opportunities. In his spare time, he relaxes by spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, painting and fine arts.
Alishia Johnson is a dedicated behavior analyst with over 16 years of experience in the field of ABA. Over the years , Alishia has worked extensively with the families of children and young adults diagnosed with Autism, PTSD and other cognitive and emotional disorders within clinics , schools, homes, and the community. She is devoted to supporting families while making a positive impact and fostering meaningful change in their lives.
Alishia holds a Master’s of Education and the Foundation of Applied Behavior Analysis degree from the University of Cincinnati. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she has demonstrated a commitment to professional excellence and providing compassionate care to the children and families that she serves.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family , nature walks and reading.

Shelby is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has experience with young children all the way up to young adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities. She has worked in the clinic setting for almost 7 years now. With a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and her Master’s in ABA, Shelby is most passionate about providing individuals with the communication tools they need to be set up for success in life whether that be vocal, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, or sign language.
Bethany has been in the field of ABA since September of 2017. Bethany was born and raised on the eastside of Indianapolis, but refers to Memphis, TN as home. Prior to ABA Bethany worked as a waitress and also was a Direct Support Professional with residential services. I truly feel that ABA found me, and I have been in love with the field ever since. Bethany is a Ball State Cardinal at heart (chirp chirp) earning a bachelor's degree in health science in 2017 and masters in ABA in May of 2022, all to later earn my BCBA certification in October of 2022. I am a dog mom of 2, they keep me busy! She is also the youngest of 3 and only girl. Some of Bethany's favorite things would be hanging out at home, with friends & family, or being out in nature. Bethany also loves to travel and try new foods in new places. Her favorite colors are purple and shades of blue. FUN FACT: My favorite travel places so far have been- Mexico, Jamacia, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico
Maribeth has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for nearly 15 years and has been a BCBA for 9 years. Her bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education and Psychology and her master's degree is in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has experience working with individuals with autism and a variety of other diagnoses, ages 3-19 years old. Her background has been primarily in public schools. Maribeth is passionate about increasing independence, helping individuals find their "voice," and making sure they are active participants in their own lives. She moved to Indiana from Vermont in 2022 which has been an exciting change!
Ashley started out in the field of ABA in 2011 as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). Ashley received her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from Indiana State University and a Master's in Education from the University of Cincinnati. Ashley has been a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst since 2021. Ashley has worked with many learners of all ages and especially enjoy working with learners using augmentative and alternative communication to improve speech and communication. I am married and together we have 3 beautiful children, 2 boys and a girl. In my free time (when I have some lol) I love to travel with my family , cook and watch movies.
Lisa Minor is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working with individuals with autism in school, home, center, and residential settings. She completed postdoctoral training in autism diagnosis and treatment at Riley Hospital for Children/IU School of Medicine. Most recently, she gained extensive experience in Verbal Behavior therapy. Lisa is passionate about providing evidence-based services to children with autism and their families. Lisa is a consultant, providing Autism diagnostic testing for Autism Companion Services. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
